Adrenal Gland
Identification Points
1. Cortex and medulla differentiated.
2. Cortex with outer zona glomerulosa, middle
zona fasciculata and inner zona reticularis.
3. Medulla with polyhedral chromaffin
cells in groups.
Pituitary Gland
Identification Points
1. Adenohypophysis with chromophobes and
chromophils arranged in groups.
2. Neurohypophysis with nerve fibers
and pituicytes.
